I can probably connect it that way by uninstalling it one the computer and setting it up as wi-fi instead of just USB, but I would really rather connect it to the wi-fi manually, which is being stopped by something as simple as not being able to see all the characters that I'm putting in.Scan performed on, Computer: Gateway MD7321U - Windows 7 64 bit It is not mentioned anywhere in there.ĭoes anyone know how to move the screen to the right to view the current character when the key is longer than the screen or where I can see what that character is? I have now looked in the Basic User's manual, the advanced user's manual, and the network setup/configuration guide. I have up/down keys, a menu key, a back key, an accept key, a cancel/stop key, and a Go/start key. There is no right arrow anywhere on the printer and it looks to me like all of the other keys already have a function.

I contacted brother support and they sent me a link to the document I've already read that says how to put the key in but doesn't say anything about keeping the current character visible to see what that character is. Then it continues putting characters in off the edge of the screen, where I can't see them. It shows me what I'm putting in right up to the edge of the little LCD screen.
The problem is that my key is longer than the screen. I am trying to connect one of these printers using the onboard wi-fi setup wizard.
